Internship Fair 2010

Since 1946, officially began in 1948, AIESEC wants to create peace trough entire world. To achieve this goal, AIESEC provide exchange. Since 1954 (the first exchange going abroad), AIESEC always provide exchange as their main program. They called it Internship. It isn’t same with traineeship. Internship is AIESEC’s traineeship, a way to give positive impact to society.

AIESEC believes that by having an international internship, one is DEVELOPED to become GLOBAL LEADER.

As they go back to their own country, they can give contribution to make their country better with the skill and networks that they gained from the internship.

Internship Fair is one of AIESEC event that held to open opportunity for Bandung Students to join EXCHANGE Program. It was held at March 20th 2010 in Gedung Aula Barat ITB.

In this event, we also invited a quite famous speaker Mr. Victor Asih (Motivator, Entrepreneurship, Author of Best Seller book '8 Langkah Menuju ke Langit') to give us motivation why we must do international internship to explore our global competences. Benefits from having AIESEC Internship:

• A positive learning experience

• Practical skills in a foreign environment to complement his/her education

• Interaction with social issues in the host community and country and/ or territory

• Interaction with a new social and cultural environment

What is AIESEC?

What is AIESEC Global Internship Program?

Having 6 weeks DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP in the land of CHINA, INDIA, PHILIPPINES, MALAYSIA, TURKEY, UKRAINE POLAND.

in the issue of ENVIRONMENT, HIV/AIDS, CHILDREN, EDUCATION, CULTURE, WOMEN RIGHTS, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, ETC.

What is the Requirements?
1. max age 30 years old
2. can speak English

How is the process?
1. Send your CV& motivation letter to globalxprogram.aiesecbandung@yahoo.com, we'll reply you with application form & send in back to us. All in PDF format in 1 ZIP folder naming DT_YOUR FULL NAME

2. If you pass the screening selection the last selection will be the interview. If you pass the interview automatically you will be AIESEC member
3. We will do the induction (giving knowledge about AIESEC and about the internship) & you will get Exchange Participant ID Number.
4. We will sign contract and find the suitable country for you

How much is the fee?
1. Interview & Application form fee Rp.100.000
2. Induction Rp. 200.000
3. Get EP ID & access to our system Rp. 1000.000
4. Match with the country Rp. 1.000.000 Total Rp. 2.000.000 + Flight ticket FOR 2 MONTH INCREDIBLE DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP!! not only that if you can get your friend join this program & pass the interview, you will get 10% discount/person. it means 2 persons = 20%, 3 persons = 30% ... 10 persons = FREE

What do we provide?
1. Logistical arrival (AIESEC Host country will pick you up when you arrive there)
2. Accomodation (You will live in Host Family or in appartment/ house with other Exchange Participant from ALL OVER THE WORLD)
3. Food (depend on the project sometimes they only provide breakfast)
