AIESEC Local Commitee Bandung will run Project Based on Exchange (PBoX) locally named PBoX Environment – “Care, Cure and Conserve The Earth”-. We bring global warming issue globally and rubbish issue locally. Indonesia is a maritime country with the biggest sea continent. Global issue now is how the global warming makes many change in environment’s sustainability. In Indonesia, especially in Bandung, many things are the causes of global warming. One of them is rubbish. As we know, waste especially house rubbish can product many dangerous gas, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), Methan (CH4), and dinitroxide (N2O). Besides, incinerator (rubbish burning) product many gas which can disturb climate sustain in Bandung. And now, by this event we want to tell Bandung’s people about the dangerous and how to maintain the problem by waste management education.
These event will be held in some places in Bandung on 29th November 2009 until 31 January 2010. Duration from opening until closing is 3 month. By these event we want to drive bigger awareness in issue global warming in Bandung, drive awareness about waste in Bandung and its role as the cause of global warming, give information about waste management and how to implement and maintain it in Bandung. Project Based on Exchange (PBoX) Environment LC Bandung consists an opening cenference, three learning events, and a closing conference.
